Children Clapping (2006) was performed by Monymusk Primary and is a continuation of a video performance that I have been working on in Glasgow. I use rigmorolish, site sympathic actions to create a dialogue about audience.
The audience roles are questioned through space or action giving the audience and the performers the opportunity of redefining their roles.
The audience are asked or cajoled into participating in the actions. The tasks that are asked of the performers could be an extension of audience behaviour or intersecting the performance spaces.
